Although we are a social Fraternity, the Alpha Beta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho is committed to providing the community with our service and on average our Brotherhood preforms over 300 hours of community service a semester. Our programs include street clean-ups, Adapt-a-Highway, and park maintenance. Currently, we have adapted a 2 mile stretch of South Chapel St. in Newark, DE in which we clean two times a semester. Also each semester the Alpha Beta Brotherhood travels to a local Boy Scout camp where Brothers perform services to the camp including wood chopping, path clearing, tree removal, fence building, and more. Providing services to the community allows us to give back to a community that has welcomed us for over 20 years.
If you would like to contact us about our community service, please do so at our Contact section. Thanks. |
